Nowadays, superstitions are discussed by a lot of people in our society. Some people believe in them and some people don't. The fact is that the population who trusts in superstitions has decreased in the last 20 years because of the development of the science.
However, there are lots of people that still believe in them. There are some superstitions like the number thirteen or the black cats, that we consider fake because these superstitions are not based on scientific researches.
Nevertheless, there are others that seem real, like crossing your fingers because eventually there are still a lot of people who do that, even if they are not believers of superstitions.
To sum up, we can say that our world is crowded of different people with different beliefs. Some believe in all superstitions, and others just don't believe in any of them which makes a society in which people differs from their beliefs.
